Localization Post Coordinator
Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in Chicago. Salary: $50‑$60K.
Job Summary: The Localization Post Coordinator is an important support role responsible for supporting project communication and timeline, facilitating workflow and ensuring quality control of deliverables in tandem with the Localization Post Producer.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Post Coordinator on localization projects, involving many aspects of post production and supporting various needs throughout the lifecycle of projects.
Work with Post Producer to support project workflow, timeline, and internal team communication.
Support a team of localization artists from kick off to delivery.
Create and maintain project deliverable trackers and schedules throughout the course of each project in Excel.
QC all deliverables to ensure visual quality and all platform technical specification requirements have been met.
Support voiceover talent casting, booking, and session coordination. Coordinate talent availability and schedule recording sessions efficiently. Support recording sessions and manage all session notes.
Work collaboratively with Producer to solve project challenges as they arise.
Maintain and enforce production and localization process guidelines, templates and workflows.
Collaborate with the internal IT department on production stability, software and hardware needs.
Qualifications
Must be well organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and writing).
1+ years in a Production Assistant, Coordinator or Operations role.
Experience in a Post Production environment is a plus.
Competent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex project tracking.
Proficiency in Excel or similar software with use of tracking high volume data.
Confident, positive attitude and ability to solve problems.
Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Excellent time management skills and verbal and written communication skills.
