Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, the Reservations & Revenue Coordinator supports the Commercial and Reservations teams through daily execution of revenue and reservations initiatives. This role assists with inventory management, rate loading, system maintenance, reporting, and reservations coordination to ensure accuracy across all distribution channels and a seamless booking experience for guests.

The Reservations & Revenue Coordinator plays a critical support role in maintaining system hygiene, supporting revenue strategies, and assisting reservations operations, while developing a foundational understanding of revenue management principles and hotel distribution systems. This position is designed as a developmental role for future leaders within Reservations and Revenue Management.

Responsibilities
Reservations & Inventory Support

Support daily reservations activities including booking accuracy, modifications, cancellations, and inventory coordination.

Monitor and manage the Reservations inbox, ensuring timely, accurate responses and appropriate escalation when required.

Assist with managing group blocks, rooming lists, cut‑off dates, and inventory controls in partnership with Sales and Reservations.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room types, packages, promotions, seasonal offers, and hotel amenities to support accurate selling.

Assist in handling VIP reservations, special requests, and pre‑arrival coordination as needed.

Revenue Management Support & Execution

Escalate system discrepancies, demand risks, or performance anomalies to Revenue or Reservations leadership for review and direction.

Assist the Director of Revenue Management with daily, weekly, and monthly Revenue Management reporting, including pickup, pace, and segmentation reports.

Support the execution of pricing, availability, and restriction strategies across all distribution channels.

Monitor booking pace, demand patterns, cancellations, and no‑show trends and escalate opportunities or risks to leadership.

Assist with monthly forecasting, budget preparation, and supporting documentation.

Group & Business Support

Assist in managing group blocks, rooming lists, inventory controls, and communication with Sales & Events teams.

Support Sales, Marketing, and PR in promotional initiatives, ensuring accurate rate setup, availability, and package configuration.

Ensure Passkey, Opera PMS, Ideas RMS, and Sales & Catering systems are properly integrated and aligned.

Distribution & System Management

Perform routine system maintenance including rate loading, restriction setup, daily system checks, and content updates in CRS, PMS, OTA extranets, and GDS platforms.

Ensure rate parity and content accuracy across all channels in accordance with brand and distribution standards.

Liaise with Accor Global Reservations, Distribution System Support, and third‑party vendors to troubleshoot issues and follow up on rate or content requests.

Support content management efforts, coordinating with Marketing to ensure images, descriptions, and amenities are current across electronic channels.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

Accurately generate and distribute standard Revenue and Reservations reports for internal stakeholders.

Assist in preparing competitive rate analysis and market snapshots for revenue meetings and leadership reviews.

Maintain organized records and reporting tools to support audit readiness and data integrity.

Perform ad‑hoc analysis and reporting as requested by senior leadership.

Other Responsibilities

Support special projects related to revenue generation, distribution optimization, or reservations efficiency.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Participate in training, development programs, and cross‑departmental initiatives.

Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management an asset

Previous experience with CRM (Opera) and (Opera CRS) systems

Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish an asset

Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem solving abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel necessary

Ability to suggestively upsell products and services

Ability to create and maintain organized records of customer information and data

Intermediate mathematical skills

Proficiency with computers and electronic equipment

Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel
