Shift: 4x10 Days
Travel Requirements: Will float between hospital units, including Colby and Pacific campuses (less than 2 miles from each other). Weekends required - every other weekend.

Job Summary

This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse or Master of Social Work (MSW) professional in a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two nearby campuses. The role requires acute care experience and discharge planning/care coordination expertise, with a strong preference for candidates with diverse case‑management experience across medical‑surgical, long‑length-of-stay, and emergency department settings. The position offers guaranteed hours of 72 hours per 2‑week period, facility‑paid parking, and the ability to chart on EPIC.
Key Responsibilities

Provide acute care services and discharge planning support
Coordinate care across hospital units and campuses
Float between all hospital areas as needed, including both Colby and Pacific campuses
Work every other weekend as scheduled
Education Requirements

BLS certification required
RN Licensure required
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree or equivalent social work credential
Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of healthcare or social work experience required
Acute Care Experience required
Discharge Planning and/or Care Coordination Experience required
First‑timers accepted: Yes
Preferred Skills

Diverse case‑management experience in medical‑surgical, long‑length‑of‑stay (LLOS), and emergency department (ED) settings
