Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:20 PM
Overtime:
Friday mornings, 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM (as needed)

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Vendor Relations and Logistics Manager to support daily operations within a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for coordinating vendor communications, issuing purchase orders, and scheduling deliveries while also assisting with hands‑on material movement on the production floor.
This position works closely with management to ensure materials are available, deliveries are scheduled, and operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing office responsibilities with physical work in a fast‑paced environment. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for their robust benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Create and issue purchase orders to vendors
Monitor incoming and outgoing parts on the production floor
Schedule shipments to vendors and coordinate delivery logistics
Help schedule company truck deliveries and pickups
Communicate with vendors and internal team members via phone and email
Assist with moving materials and operating equipment as needed
Maintain accurate records of shipments, orders, and inventory
Support daily operations to keep production running efficiently
Qualifications
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, purchasing, or manufacturing operations preferred
Associate or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain (preferred)
Forklift experience (preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a small team environment
Comfortable working both in an office setting and on the production floor
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, order tracking)
