We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The role requires strong project management skills, experience in surveying, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Essential Functions

Assist in training and management of survey field crews, CAD drafters, survey technicians, and support staff.

Communicate effectively across teams and business units.

Assist in financial management of survey projects: contract preparation, billing reports, invoicing, collections.

Perform boundary analysis and calculations for ALTA, topographic, utility, and roadway surveys using Civil 3D and other industry‑standard software.

Provide construction stakeout services: field setup and quality control.

Quality control of all survey documents, plans, record plots, metes‑and‑bounds descriptions, and title commitment reports.

Assist with client meetings, conference calls, and coordination.

Business development: identify potential clients, attend marketing events, maintain existing client relations.

Contract preparation.

Provide overall daily management of project workflow, staffing, and deadlines under supervision.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in surveying field with 2–3 years of management experience.

Bachelor's Degree preferred; Surveyor in Training (SIT) even better.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Strong client and internal communication skills.

Ability to manage tight deadlines and multitask.

Excellent diplomacy, listening, and responsiveness to client needs.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and complex documents.

Excellent computer skills.

Attendance at internal and external events and functions.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Light to moderate lifting may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range:

$80,000 – $100,000+ per year, depending on experience.
