Job Description
Temporary part‑time Test Administrator at Pearson VUE, Columbus, OH (4100 Horizons Dr., Columbus, OH 43220). Position ends September 2026. Pay $17.75 per hour plus accrued paid sick time.
Responsibilities
Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies.
Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
Proctor/invigilate candidates while testing.
Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.
Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule Requirements
Part‑time; 10–15 hours per week. 4–6 hour shifts, Monday through Saturday, with 1–2 Saturdays per month. Sunday shifts infrequent. Morning shifts begin at 7:15 AM; evening shifts can end anytime up to 8:30 PM. Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling. Schedules available at least 2 weeks in advance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum 1 year customer service experience is preferred.
Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly preferred.
Must be flexible in work hours and days.
Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and escort candidates to and from the testing room.
Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, able to hear soft voices, and see details from a distance.
