Location: Canandaigua Medical Group, 335 Parrish St, Canandaigua, NY 14424, USA
Schedule: Mondays 8-5, Tuesdays 8-5 and Friday 1pm-5pm (With some variation if needed). Primary Location at the Canandaigua Medical Group OBGYN, with potential coverage at one of the other Ambulatory OBGYN offices (Geneva, Victor & Farmington).
Note: On-site role with potential for cross-office coverage. On occasion, role responsibilities may require adjustments to meet patient and practice needs.
Responsibilities
Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in a primary care/OBGYN setting.
Apply knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to clinical care.
Access and interpret patient data to identify age-specific needs and provide necessary care according to Department policies and procedures.
Demonstrate caring and concern for all patients; maintain accurate and complete charting documentation.
Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing techniques as required by position.
Work with minimal supervision while executing all provider orders; participate in triage within scope of practice.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with office staff and Practice Management.
Contribute to leadership by supporting practice and system goals and coordinating clinical staffing and laboratory activity as needed.
Guard patient and staff confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing; currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
Must maintain current CPR training and certification.
Education
Graduation from an approved school of nursing is required.
Experience
Five years of recent nursing experience required.
Successful completion of the Thompson Health System orientation program during the introductory period.
Physician office nursing experience, injection administration and phlebotomy skills are preferred.
Compensation
Pay Range: $34.00 - $45.00
Starting Pay: Based on Experience
