Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patient Care Technician, located in Canandaigua, NY. The Patient Care Technician will assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities, measuring and recording vital signs, preparing patients for medical procedures, and effectively communicating patient needs to the healthcare team. Additional duties may include maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
Proven ability in Patient Care and Direct Patient Care
Experience with Medical Assisting and Vital Signs monitoring
Basic knowledge and understanding of Medicine and medical terminology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate and efficient patient service
Certification as a Patient Care Technician or a similar role is preferred
Current CPR certification is required
High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional healthcare-related training or education is a plus
