Description
The Restaurant Server will provide outstanding guest service by serving food and beverage to restaurant guests, pre‑setting the restaurant, maintaining side workstations, clearing tables during and after each meal, and properly storing equipment at the end of each shift. They will courteously handle all guest requests based on Company Standards to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests with a welcoming and professional manner.
Present menus, answer questions, make recommendations and upsell items.
Take and deliver food and beverage orders, ensuring proper presentation.
Anticipate and address guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
Handle guest payments by providing accurate change or processing credit card transactions through POS system.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth communication and order delivery.
Ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently for the next guests.
Keep work areas, dining tables, and overall restaurant spaces clean and presentable.
Stock supplies as necessary.
Open and close the restaurant efficiently and accurately.
Attend all required trainings and be aware of any changes to menus, hotel and departmental policies and procedures and service standards.
Comply with the company's drug‑free and tobacco
icotine‑free policy.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience / Qualifications
Minimum one year of fine dining experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
