GENERAL PURPOSE
Assist production team in multiple areas to ensure safe, accurate and timely production of customer jobs in accordance with established processes and procedures, quality standards reflective
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists with machine set-up and changeovers
Feed machines with product
Visually inspects labels for defects
Splices roles together using scissors and tape
Slits down jobs
Assists with hand stripping
Assist with gathering on Folder/Gluer
Cuts cores for each specific job
Makes labels and Certificates of Compliance
Verifies correct material is present and organized for production runs
Cleans and maintains equipment along with general common areas
Moves loads of printed and unprinted stock when necessary
Assists the press operator with preventative maintenance of the press
Assembles print cylinders and gears.
Performs and reviews line clearance
Removes waste from the press area
Operates motorized lifts
Follows Good Manufacturing Practices
Works in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
Performs other job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Must be able to read and comprehend measurements on a ruler
Must have the ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Must be able to obtain a Hi-Lo License
Must be able to maintain good attendance
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
