Responsibilities
Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for the procedure.
Monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies.
Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent. Graduate from an accredited School of Surgical Technologist preferred and/or certification preferred. Operating Room Technician Certification preferred. BLS required.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional language and basic computer knowledge desirable. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
