Job Description
Immaculate Conception School is looking for a General Music Teacher for our K–6 Catholic school who provides engaging, developmentally appropriate music instruction that builds students’ skills in singing, rhythm, movement, and music literacy while fostering a love of music.
The teacher integrates Catholic faith and tradition by preparing students for Masses, prayer services, and liturgical celebrations, helping students understand music as a form of worship and expression of faith.
This role involves creating a positive, structured classroom environment, using a variety of instructional strategies, and supporting all learners. The teacher collaborates with staff, communicates with families, and contributes to the school community.
The ideal candidate is musically skilled, organized, and committed to nurturing students’ God-given talents through joyful participation in music.
It is a .6 FTE but can be negotiable.
