We are looking for service technicians with experience working on boilers, residential AC, mini splits, and commercial systems. Truck, tools, uniform, and tablet w/ Service Titan provided.

Position Summary
The Install Apprentice supports the installation team in the setup, assembly, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on training and development, preparing the apprentice to become a skilled installer through mentorship and supervised practical experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist experienced installers with residential and commercial system installations
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and installation instructions
Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
Perform basic assembly, installation, and alignment tasks under supervision
Observe and assist with system start‑ups, testing, and calibration
Maintain clean and safe job sites
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and manufacturer installation guidelines
Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition
Participate in training sessions, safety meetings, and on‑job mentoring
Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on job sites
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Enrollment in or completion of technical school or trade program preferred
No prior installation experience required; willingness to learn is essential
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
OSHA safety training or basic certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic mechanical aptitude and hand‑tool proficiency
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work safely and adhere to safety protocols
Basic math and measurement skills
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work at heights
Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, or rooftops
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Residential and commercial job sites
Exposure to mechanical equipment, tools, dust, noise, and temperature extremes
Field‑based work with frequent travel between job sites
Schedule
Typically Monday through Friday
Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required
Travel Requirements
Local travel within the assigned service area
Training & Development
Hands‑on training with experienced installers
Mentorship to learn installation best practices, tools, and safety procedures
