We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Elementary Level Per Diem Substitute Teachers

Duties

Manage student learning in accordance with the goals of the Fall River Public School District.

Implement lesson plans while ensuring the integrity of academic time and motivating students to learn and participate.

Organize students for effective instruction.

Ensure adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students.

Maintain and respect confidentiality of student and school personnel information.

Comply with and support school and District regulations and policies.

Follow oral and written directions and establish effective working relationships with staff and students.

Maintain effective classroom management strategies.

Report all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the appropriate authority immediately or as soon as reasonably possible.

Perform other related duties as assigned by building administrator(s) in accordance with District policies and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

60 college credits (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
