Capital Markets & Fund Accounting Trainer / L&D Specialist

We are seeking a Capital Markets & Fund Accounting professional with strong domain expertise in investment banking, capital markets, and financial services operations, combined with a proven track record in learning and development.

This role blends deep functional knowledge with training leadership, focusing on designing and delivering impactful learning solutions across fund accounting, capital markets, and alternative investments. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on operational experience along with the ability to translate complex concepts into structured, practical, and engaging learning interventions.

Exposure to Private Equity, REITs, SPV structures, AIFM, and Depositary services is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging training programs across capital markets, fund accounting, and financial services operations

Develop structured learning paths, SOPs, process training materials, and case‑based content aligned to business needs

Lead Training Needs Identification (TNI) initiatives to assess capability gaps and implement targeted learning solutions

Conduct training workshops for senior stakeholders, covering governance, regulatory frameworks, and product/service offerings

Partner with SMEs and business leaders to co‑create content across SPV services, AIFM, Depositary, and capital markets domains

Design and administer assessments, case studies, and certification frameworks to evaluate learning effectiveness

Track and report training metrics, feedback, and effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement

Support operational training and onboarding, enabling seamless transition of new hires into business roles

Manage end‑to‑end training programs, including planning, execution, governance, and reporting

Drive knowledge management initiatives, including documentation, repositories, and process standardization

Contribute to digital learning initiatives, including e‑learning modules and blended learning solutions

Ability to

simplify complex financial concepts

for diverse audiences

Preferred Profile

2–3 years of operational experience in Capital Markets and Fund Accounting

CA Freshers (2nd–5th attempt) with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial markets

MBA (Finance) graduates (last 2 years) with a passion for training, content development, and operational excellence

Exposure to Private Equity, REITs, SPV structures, or alternative investments

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as AML/KYC, AIFM, FATCA, etc.

Experience in global training delivery and stakeholder management

Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills (proficiency level: 4/5 or above)
