What do we need?
The Multi-Age Teacher collaborates with Lead Teachers to create a nurturing, supportive classroom environment grounded in trauma-informed care principles. In this full-time role, you will foster the academic and social development of preschool-aged children and support their families at the Center of Excellence Child Development Center.
Responsibilities
Encourages children’s social, academic, and developmental skills
Welcomes, talks, and meets with parents as needed
Observes and reports on the well-being of children
Maintains a clean classroom by organizing, cleaning, and sanitizing daily
Participates in classroom planning and facilitation of age-appropriate curriculum
Builds on the trauma-informed framework developed in the classrooms
Implements sensory integration in the classroom in collaboration with the lead teacher
Pay and Benefits
$25.00/hour
Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Training shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalency required. 2 year degree or CDA preferred
2,080 hours as an aide or student intern in a licensed Child Care Program
12 quarter credits relating to Child Development
First Aid and CPR certified or willing to be certified within first 90 days of work
Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
