Responsibilities
The Endoscopy Technician supports the Endoscopy team by preparing procedure rooms, assisting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, handling and reprocessing endoscopes and accessories, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment for patient care. This role is critical to maintaining patient safety, infection prevention standards, and efficient patient flow in the Endoscopy Department.

Endoscopy Tech Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of an Endoscopy Technician training program preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Endoscopy.
Skills
Endoscopic procedures and accessories.
High-level disinfection (HLD) standards and workflow.
Infection prevention principles.
Follow detailed policies and procedures.
Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Attention to detail.
Organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
License / Certification
Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) - SGNA or CBSPD (preferred, not required).
BLS - Basic Life Support.
Travel Requirements
Minimal.
