Full Stack Developer
Alignerr, Seattle, WA, United States
About The Role
What if your years of full-stack experience could directly shape how AI writes, evaluates, and reasons about code for millions of developers worldwide? We're looking for seasoned Full Stack Developers to work with leading AI research teams — reviewing AI-generated code, stress‑testing system designs, and helping build the tools that make AI smarter across the entire web stack.
Full Stack Developer (AI Training)
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced engineers who want to do meaningful, high‑impact work on their own schedule.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
Evaluate AI-generated code across the full stack — from frontend interfaces (React, Vue) to backend logic (Node.js, Python, C#)
Identify bugs, architectural weaknesses, and performance bottlenecks in AI‑produced code and designs
Design and build full‑stack tooling to support AI data annotation and quality control workflows
Review complex system architectures and provide expert feedback on scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Write clear, structured technical feedback that helps improve AI model outputs
Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
3–5+ years of professional full‑stack development experience shipping production‑grade code
Strong proficiency across JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Rust
Comfortable working across both frontend and backend layers without hand‑holding
Sharp eye for code quality, system design, and engineering best practices
Excellent written communicator — you can explain complex technical decisions clearly and precisely
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field from a reputable institution
Nice to Have
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or high‑scale infrastructure
Background in developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model evaluation, or data annotation pipelines
Prior experience in code review, technical writing, or engineering mentorship
Why Join Us
Work directly with world‑leading AI research labs on cutting‑edge model development
Fully remote and async — work when and how it suits you
Freelance autonomy with the satisfaction of structured, high‑impact technical workMake a tangible difference in how AI understands, writes, and evaluates code at scale
Ongoing contract potential as new AI training projects continue to launch
