Internship - Utilities Engineer

The City of Odessa is seeking a Utilities Engineer Intern to support infrastructure projects and daily operations within Utilities Administration.
What You’ll Do
Assist with reviewing engineering plans for water and sewer projects
Support pipeline design, job orders, and project documentation
Help evaluate layouts, slopes, and compliance with City standards
What We’re Looking For
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Basic knowledge of engineering concepts and Microsoft Office
Interest in utilities, infrastructure, or public service
Minimum Qualifications
Junior or senior in college (Engineering or related field)
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
