$32.35 per hour.

Job Description

Ohio Department of Public Safety – Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center reports in one of the listed locations depending on candidate home location.
What You'll Do

Conduct thorough forensic financial analysis of businesses, individuals, or groups involved in suspicious or illegal activity, including advanced analysis of financial data and other information related to financial crimes, compiling findings into reports, identifying funding sources, tracing transactions, identifying assets for forfeiture or seizure, and calculating losses.
Perform cryptocurrency tracing and analysis.
Identify and analyze informational databases, spreadsheets, and reports to facilitate easy exchange and understanding.
Prepare intelligence reports, products, and briefings for presentation to all public safety partners.
Assist the Forensic Financial Program Manager with all fiscal functions within ONIC.
Qualifications

36 months experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques; or
Completion of undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs, or related field, and 12 months experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques; or
Equivalent to minimum class qualifications for employment defined above.
Supplemental Information

Training and development: must obtain LEADS certification and renew biannually; may require secret level federal security clearance.
Unusual working conditions: may require travel, nights, weekends, holidays as operational need dictates.
Must obtain and maintain a federal Secret level Security Clearance.
Valid driver's license or own transportation required.
Background Check Information

Background check includes ACI and FBI fingerprint, polygraph examination, and may include a comparative analysis and/or drug test.
