Payroll Tax Specialist
Location: El Segundo (Los Angeles), CA | Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
What You'll Do:
Lead payroll tax compliance for 2,700+ multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Own federal, state, and local payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.
Serve as the subject matter expert on wage and hour laws, FLSA, garnishments, and Regular Rate of Pay.
Research and implement tax law changes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across all frequencies.
Partner cross-functionally with HR, Accounting, Sales Compensation, and IT to optimize systems and workflows.
Make recommendations for streamlining processes.
What You Bring:
5-7 years of payroll and multi-state tax experience.
Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS regulations, and payroll tax compliance.
Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
CPP designation preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
