Ryder is immediately hiring for Permanent Full Time Material Handler
in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Job Compensation
Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
Shift premium: $1.50 when working third shift
Schedule: Third Shift Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License (certified).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
Highly thorough and dependable.
Punctual and good attendance record.
Perform work independently with minimal supervision.
High initiative.
Demonstrate high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
Able to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Use health and safety methods.
Flexible schedule across shifts.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, load and unload trucks.
Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
