Salary: $17.84 - $20.89 per hour
Work Schedule: 35‑40 hrs per week June–September; 10‑20 hrs per week Oct–May, Day Shift, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
Provide accounting support to the unit, including entry and maintenance of asset accounts.
Utilize the Oracle PeopleSoft accounting system (SWIFT) asset management module to record transactions.
Assist in the financial reporting of SWIFT assets for the transportation department.
Coordinate with supervisor to arrange telework or office presence as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Current student in secondary, post‑secondary, or graduate school enrolled in accounting, business, finance, or related program.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. at employment start date.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Basic math and data analysis skills.
Enrollment: at least 6 semester (9 quarter) credits at a credit‑granting institution, or at least 2 courses per semester at a non‑credit institution. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 2 courses or making progress toward a dissertation.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate must pass past‑employer reference checks and a criminal history check.
Background investigation includes SEMA4 Records Check, Criminal History Check, Employment Reference Check, Driver’s License Check, Education/License Verification and/or drug and alcohol test.
