
Junior Construction Project Manager

currently has an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 2+ years of experience who is looking to continue developing their skills within the Construction Management industry in New York City, and is especially motivated to gain experience with public agency projects.
Assist in ensuring quality, performance, and compliance in both design and construction by all consultants and vendors.
Support the coordination of schedules, phasing, and planning to keep projects on track and within budget.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in implementing timely solutions.
Work closely with contractors, architects, and construction managers to address design and construction challenges.
Review and process change orders, contract documents, and shop drawing submittals to maintain project compliance.
Conduct site visits and inspections to track project status and address any field issues.
Assist in resolving construction-related problems and providing recommendations to senior project managers.
Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain and organize project documentation, reports, and field records.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management is required.
Experience working with public agencies is preferred, but a willingness to learn and interest in public projects is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience/interest in exterior renovations.
Familiarity with construction project scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.
Ability to start an in-person, New York-based position within 2 weeks of offer.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
$80,000 - $90,000 USD
