Time Commitment:
Six days a week
Fifteen to twenty hours a week.
One game a week.
Season Length – 8/24/2026 – 11/27/2026

SUMMARY:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Cheerleader supervisor to coach the cheerleading team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning all areas of the team.
Leading and assisting the coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels.
Analyze game strategy.
Implementation of skill development.
Coverage on bus trips.
Video analysis of games.
Attend all league and local, district, and state meetings when necessary.
Reaching out to local Youth Groups to promote the sport in town.
Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
CPR Certified.
NFHS Concussion course completed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience coaching cheerleading.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
