Golf Head Coach (SY 26-27) (Stipend)

Salary range:
$4,812-$5,820 stipend
Time Commitment:
Six days a week
Twenty to twenty-five hours a week
Three matches a week
Season length: 8/24/2026 – 11/7/2026

SUMMARY:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding head coach to coach the golf team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning all areas of the team
Leading and assisting coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels
Analyze game strategy
Implementation of skill development
Coverage on bus trips
Video analysis of matches
Statistical analysis of matches
Attend all league and local, district, and state meetings when necessary
Reach out to local youth groups to promote their respective sports in town
Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
CPR certified
NFHS concussion course completed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience coaching golf
Strong communication and leadership skills
