About the role
The position is a full‑time position on the food and beverage team and provides an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests’ needs and an expert on the menu options for dinner service in the fine dining outlet.
What you will do
Create a wonderful dining experience by connecting with guests and maintaining an exceptional knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks and information about menu item preparation methods.
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point‑of‑sales system.
Responsible for delivering and clearing guest food as well as assisting with any guest needs throughout service in a timely manner.
Responsible for accurately closing guest checks and processing cash and credit card payments.
Communicate with other team members for support and accuracy of table service delivery.
What you bring
2+ years server experience in a fast‑paced high‑end restaurant setting required.
This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
