Position Overview
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is seeking dedicated Vacuum Truck Drivers/Jet Truck Drivers with a Class B CDL to join our growing team. This hands‑on position involves approximately 20% driving and 80% manual labor, including moving hoses, off‑loading at facilities, and participating in various onsite operations.
Essential Functions
Drive and operate vacuum trucks and related equipment on site and transport equipment between job sites as assigned.
Engage in strenuous, practical, and manual activities daily, including assisting technicians onsite.
Operate light and heavy equipment such as blasting equipment, vacuum trucks, hoses, and more.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
Work in confined spaces and elevated areas, as well as in hot, wet, cold, and potentially foul‑smelling environments during 8–12‑hour shifts.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Class B CDL (required)
Tanker Endorsement (required)
Hazmat Endorsement (preferred)
Current DOT Medical Card (required)
Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean 3‑year motor vehicle record
Must pass background check and drug test
Ability to carry/move up to 50 lbs.
Capable of performing manual labor outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions
Willingness to work in confined and elevated spaces, and to use a respirator; may be required to be clean‑shaven
Ability to work shifts longer than 8 hours as needed, including emergency callouts
2–4 years of hands‑on experience with tools and heavy equipment (preferred)
Prior industry experience is a plus
Pay
$23.50 - $24.50/hour DOE (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
