Shop Location: Rocky Mount, NC 27804

Shift/Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm; Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Salary: $56,000 – Paid Weekly

Strong Parts and Truck Repair knowledge. Bachelor's Degree Required

The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18‑month structured training program designed to develop leadership and operational knowledge. The position involves collaborating with different teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and strategies that align with customer retention and operational excellence.

This role provides an opportunity to apply problem‑solving skills to help make sound business decisions for the company.

Essential Functions

Responsible for customer relationship activities, providing a quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization while maintaining lease customer satisfaction.

Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.

Manage running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policies and processes are followed to optimize costs.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Ensure accurate preventive maintenance scheduling, follow‑up, breakdown reporting, and vehicle status updates; oversee technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.

Additional Responsibilities

Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, Required.

1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution experience, Preferred.

Strong PC knowledge/skills, including spreadsheets and word‑processing software packages; Advanced, Required.

Basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics; Beginner, Required.

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: $56,000 per year
