Staff Accountant/Trust

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a company local to the Manchester, NH area in their search for Staff Accountant. This position is 5 days a week onsite, and it reports to the Accounting Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Process and reconcile wire transfers, verifying details and resolving discrepancies promptly
Monitor daily cash activity across accounts and investigate variances or unusual transactions
Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Support financial statement preparation
Requirements
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (GL and cash/wires preferred)
Knowledge of GAAP and month-end close
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and time management skills
Compensation
$65k - $80k DOE
