Job Description
Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects
Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
Coordinate and participate in field activities, including logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores
Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards
Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
Perform engineering analyses, including foundation design and evaluation, slope stability analysis, and settlement analysis
Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians
Education
B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required
M.S. in related field preferred
Required Skills & Experience
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Minimum 7+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting
Familiarity with local engineering practices and Austin‑area projects preferred
Detail‑oriented, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
