Job Description
We are seeking a Buyer to join a well-established industrial distributor in the Macedonia area.
This is a hands‑on role focused on day‑to‑day purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination within a fast‑paced distribution environment. This is not a strategic sourcing position — the focus is on execution, organization, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Place purchase orders with existing vendors
Monitor and maintain inventory levels and replenish stock
Track, expedite, and follow up on orders
Coordinate with internal teams including order processing and warehouse
Communicate with vendors regarding availability, pricing, and lead times
Maintain accurate records in internal systems and spreadsheets
Qualifications
Experience in purchasing, buying, inventory, or supply chain
Background in distribution or product‑based environment preferred
Comfortable working with parts and product specifications (mechanical aptitude preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient with computers and systems (Excel experience helpful)
Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Onsite in Macedonia, OH
Compensation & Benefits
$50,000 – $70,000 based on experience
Medical benefits (majority employer‑covered)
