LG Electronics Alabama Inc. (LGEAI) is seeking an experienced
Financial Planning Manager
to serve as the primary financial advisor to our Financial Planning team under the CFO department. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this high‑impact individual contributor role requires a seasoned FP&A professional who can independently lead planning cycles, influence senior stakeholders, and drive financial rigor across a complex corporate finance environment.
The position is best suited for a finance leader who has operated in established U.S. corporate settings and understands how to translate corporate strategy into disciplined financial execution.
Responsibilities
Serve as the lead finance partner to Finance and Corporate Strategy leadership, providing strategic and financial guidance
Own the monthly forecast, annual budget, and long‑range planning processes for supported functions as well as P&L management
Deliver rigorous variance analysis with clear identification of performance drivers, risks, and corrective actions
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate financial planning, cost optimization, and corporate investments
Partner with corporate leadership to align financial initiatives with corporate objectives such as business P&L analysis/reporting
Provide executive‑ready reporting and presentations to senior leadership, including clear business recommendations
Strengthen financial discipline across supported functions by improving reporting accuracy, accountability, and KPI visibility
Proactively identify cost‑saving opportunities and financial efficiency improvements
Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance to support corporate‑level financial strategy and performance management
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline
Must be knowledgeable regarding financial structure, accounting concepts to work on financial planning tasks
7+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience within a U.S.-based corporate organization
Demonstrated ownership of full‑cycle budgeting and forecasting processes
Experience directly supporting finance, corporate strategy, or senior leadership
Strong understanding of U.S. financial planning practices, cost accounting concepts, and performance management frameworks
Advanced financial modeling expertise and strong Excel proficiency
Experience working within ERP‑driven environments and large financial data sets
Proven ability to influence senior leaders through clear, data‑driven recommendations
Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL (No Hybrid or Remote)
Preferred Experience
Experience in a U.S. corporate finance environment
Background partnering with senior leadership or corporate management
Exposure to financial planning, cost optimization, or corporate efficiency initiatives
MBA or CPA strongly preferred

Salary
$100,000 - $113,000 USD
