
Media Technology Specialist

RK&K is currently hiring a Media Technology Specialist. The Media Technology Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting the logistics of meetings and events. This position involves ensuring that all aspects of meetings run smoothly, from planning and setup to execution and follow-up
Essential Functions
Meeting Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending invitations, and managing RSVPs
Logistics Management: Arrange meeting spaces, set up audio-visual equipment, and ensure all necessary materials are available
Technical Support: Provide basic technical support for virtual and in-person meetings, including troubleshooting audio-visual issues
Communication: Serve as the point of contact for meeting participants, addressing any questions or concerns
Documentation: Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents
Follow‑Up: Assist in post‑meeting activities, such as collecting feedback and summarizing key takeaways
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers as needed for equipment rental, and other services
Required Education, Skills and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Shure microphone systems, Microsoft Teams Meetings, Zoom conferencing platforms, Poly Lens device management, MTRoW (Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows), Mersive collaboration solutions, Poly X50/X70 video bars, Logitech Meetup conference systems, and Crestron room scheduling panels
Strong organizational and multitasking ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar certification
Associate degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Previous experience in event planning, administrative support, or a related role
