Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a passionate, skilled commercial technician who is detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and enjoys travel, variety, autonomy, and being part of a supportive, growing company.
Responsibilities

Use 7+ years of commercial maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, flooring, masonry, EIFS, welding, advanced structural repairs) to complete service tickets efficiently and accurately.
Interpret assembly and blueprint drawings to deliver exceptional service with minimal supervision.
Complete service tickets in a designated territory cost‑consciously, high quality, and on time.
Maintain clear communication with lead technicians, supervisors, managers, and office staff regarding open issues and progress.
Display a high level of professionalism while working cooperatively with employees and customers.
Follow all policies and procedures to ensure safe working conditions.
Travel up to 500–2,000 miles per week to client sites with paid mileage reimbursement.
Be available for flexible schedules, including on‑call, overnight, and weekend work; some assignments may require short overnight travel (1–4 nights). This role requires reliable transportation capable of carrying tools and equipment.
Be proficient with technology (industry software, mobile apps, digital tools) to complete work orders, communicate, and document activities.
Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 80 lbs., applying up to 200 lbs. of torque, and working in various positions (bending, stooping, standing, sitting, lying down).
Qualifications
7+ years of commercial maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, flooring, masonry, EIFS, welding, and structural repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent vocational certification. General contractor license, electrical license, or specialized trade certifications highly preferred.
Proven mechanical aptitude and proficiency reading assembly and blueprint drawings.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Self‑starter with a high level of accountability and teamwork.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation capable of carrying tools and equipment.
Proficiency with industry‑specific software, mobile applications, and digital tools.
