Part Time Library Assistant - South Columbus Public Library

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries, a division of the Muscogee County School District, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part‑Time Library Assistant. This is a 19‑hour per week position at the South Columbus Public Library.
All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; have high energy and pleasing dispositions. Applicants should be able to offer technology and reference assistance to the public and enjoy working with children of all ages. The role also requires the ability to help customers with technology needs, teach computer skill classes, and provide one‑on‑one assistance to customers. Applicants must communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and the public, and be willing and able to report to any branch in the system and work nights and weekends in rotation. Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
Salary:
$13.00 / hour
