Global Supply Chain Intern

Job Description
The Global Supply Chain Intern supports logistics, demand planning, and inventory management by analyzing data, managing supplier communications, and improving operational efficiency. Key tasks include creating reports, conducting cost analysis, and optimizing supply chain workflows to ensure on‑time delivery. This role bridges academic knowledge with practical experience in demand planning, logistics, and manufacturing operations in accordance with product and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Data analysis and reporting: validate, clean and manipulate supply chain data, creating logistics dashboards, tracking KPIs, and developing reports.

Supplier Management: Assist with supplier performance tracking and maintaining supplier databases.

Operations support: Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and procurement teams on inventory strategy and demand planning.

Process Optimization: Research emerging technologies to improve supply chain workflows, reduce costs/inventory, and improve efficiency.

Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within general practices and procedures, where supervision is available.

Assist in the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education Requirement: College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other technological fields of study.

Experience

Required Experience:

Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
