Role Summary
We are looking for a
ServiceNow ITOM Architect – Senior Technical Consultant
with deep expertise in
CSDM‑led CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping . This role will own the
end‑to‑end ITOM lifecycle , focusing on
solution design, data integrity, integrations, and CMDB governance
on the ServiceNow platform.
The candidate will act as
CMDB Product Owner , work closely with process owners, application SMEs, and infrastructure teams, and deliver
Discovery and Service Mapping solutions
aligned to the
Common Service Data Model (CSDM) .
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement
ITOM solutions
for
end‑to‑end CSDM‑led Configuration Management lifecycle
Lead
CMDB architecture, governance, and data integrity
from both
ownership and discovery
perspectives
Implement and optimize
ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping
Analyze
multiple CI/data sources
(Discovery, procurement, integrations, third‑party tools) and establish data reconciliation strategies
Monitor
CMDB & ITOM metrics , identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement
Perform
gap analysis
with application SMEs and stakeholders and propose scalable solutions
Act as
Product Owner for CMDB , reviewing and validating CI data quality
Participate in
Configuration Management meetings and Agile story grooming
Define and resolve complex client issues using deep ServiceNow ITOM product knowledge
Work closely with
network, infrastructure, and application teams
on discovery credentials, connectivity, and design
Design and implement
customizations, scripts, SR development, and integrations
Mandatory Skills & Experience
10+ years
experience in
ITOM / CMDB / Discovery / Service Mapping solutioning
5+ years
hands‑on experience with
ServiceNow Discovery
Strong expertise in:
ServiceNow ITOM
CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
Service Mapping
IRE (Identification & Reconciliation Engine)
Integration experience with:
REST APIs
Graph Connector
SQL / Database integrations
Federated CMDB data sources
Technical skills:
XML / JSON
Jelly scripting
SQL
Strong ServiceNow customization experience
Strong understanding of:
IT Asset Management lifecycle
(hardware & software)
Network connectivity, credentials, discovery patterns
Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
ServiceNow
ITOM / Discovery certifications
preferred

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
