Dental RCM Specialist Claims Follow-Up, AR & Payment Posting (Open Dental)

Were looking for someone who really knows their way around dental RCM, not just basic work, but someone who can take ownership of claims follow-up, clear AR efficiently, and handle payment posting using ERAs in Open Dental without hand-holding.

This role is for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and confident in working independently.

What youll be doing:

• Claims follow-up with payors (status checks, re-submissions, denials handling)
• Clearing AR and reducing aging buckets effectively
• Identifying and resolving denials with proper next steps
• Posting payments using ERA/EOBs in Open Dental
• Ensuring accurate adjustments, write-offs, and patient responsibility
• Highlighting issues proactively and suggesting improvements

What were looking for:

• Strong experience in dental billing / RCM
• Proven track record of AR clearance and claims resolution
• Hands-on experience with Open Dental PMS
• Solid understanding of ERA posting, adjustments, and insurance workflows
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Attention to detail errors in posting or claims wont work for this role
