Job Summary:
Customer is seeking an experienced
Business Analyst
with strong
Auto Commercial insurance domain expertise
to support policy administration initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and delivery teams to define, document, and deliver requirements. Experience with
Guidewire PolicyCenter
is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements related to Auto Commercial insurance products and policy lifecycle.
Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Support end to end policy administration processes including Quote, Bind, Issue, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, and Reinstatements.
Act as a liaison between business, developers, QA, and vendors to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
Support Agile delivery, including backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and UAT activities.
Assist with UAT planning, test scenarios, defect triage, and business sign off. Create and maintain key documentation such as process flows, functional specifications, and data mappings.
Ensure solutions align with business goals, underwriting rules, and regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Skills:
10 - 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance domain.
Strong hands on experience with Auto Commercial insurance.
Solid understanding of policy administration systems and workflows.
Experience with Trucking / Transportation insurance products (e.g., Motor Carrier, Fleet, Liability).
Experience in integration with 3rd party tools like Copart, Telematics.
Proven experience working in large enterprise or consulting environments. Strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
Familiarity with tools such as Wiki, Azure DevOps, Visio.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other Guidewire modules such as Billing Center and Claim Center.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
Experience with database management systems and SQL.
Experience supporting core system modernization or transformation programs.
Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data migration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 to 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on P&C insurance.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Full‑time:
The pay range for this role is USD100,000 - USD115,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The exact offer terms will depend on the skill level, educational qualifications, experience and location of the candidate.
Contract:
USD50/HR – USD60/HR.
