Job Title:

Guidewire Business Analyst / QA (Commercial Lines)

Overview / Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Business Analyst / Quality Analyst with deep expertise in Commercial Lines (Auto & Specialty). This role focuses on analyzing business requirements, validating system behavior, and supporting performance testing for Guidewire Cloud. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment between business expectations and test coverage while maintaining high delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Commercial Auto and Specialty lines

Translate business needs into functional specifications and acceptance criteria

Ensure traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and outcomes

Work extensively with Guidewire Cloud (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)

Analyze end-to-end insurance workflows, including underwriting, policy lifecycle, and endorsements

Support configuration validation and identify functional gaps

Design and review functional and non-functional test scenarios

Validate system behavior against business requirements

Ensure comprehensive test coverage across integrations and legacy systems

Collaborate with performance testing teams to define realistic business scenarios

Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks

Ensure alignment between business-critical flows and performance test coverage

Act as a bridge between business, architecture, and QA teams

Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations effectively

Support UAT and production validation activities

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / QA in the P&C Insurance domain

Strong experience in Commercial Lines (Auto & Specialty preferred)

Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations

Strong understanding of PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter

Experience in functional, integration, and performance testing

Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

Deep understanding of insurance concepts: underwriting, rating, policy lifecycle, claims

Experience in complex system integrations and legacy modernization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in fast-paced, complex environments
