Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Guidewire Software Manager
to lead and support the development, enhancement, and ongoing operations of the
Guidewire InsuranceSuite
platform. This role combines technical leadership and people management, ensuring Guidewire solutions are stable, scalable, and aligned with insurance business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Guidewire developers, analysts, and support resources
Oversee Guidewire initiatives across the full delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite environment
Coordinate and manage integrations between Guidewire applications and internal/external enterprise systems
Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and documentation for the Guidewire platform
Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers supporting Guidewire solutions
Monitor delivery timelines, resource allocation, and budget utilization
Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, security policies, and internal governance standards
Stay current with Guidewire product updates, enhancements, and industry trends
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading or managing
Guidewire implementations and support teams
Strong hands-on expertise with
Guidewire InsuranceSuite
(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
Experience with
Gosu development , Guidewire Studio, and the Guidewire Integration Framework
Solid understanding of integrations using web services, APIs, and messaging
Experience working with
Oracle or SQL Server
databases
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to solve complex technical and business problems
Prior experience in the
insurance industry
(P&C highly preferred)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
