Job Title: Children's Ministry Support Staff (Part-Time, As Needed)
Lead Position: 18+ years old
Assistant Position: 16+ years old
Purpose of the Role
To create a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where children from Nursery through 5th Grade experience the love of Jesus. This includes actively supervising children, teaching engaging Bible lessons, and encouraging kindness, respect, and cooperation.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children preferred
Strong attentiveness to the needs, safety, and emotional well-being of children
Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
A caring, compassionate, and patient heart
A commitment to personal spiritual growth and a vibrant relationship with Jesus
Key Responsibilities
Teach, encourage, and model the love of Jesus to children of all ages (Nursery–5th Grade) on Wednesday nights
Be prepared and willing to teach Bible‑based lessons during services and events
Supervise and monitor children to ensure safety and well‑being
Identify and report any health, behavioral, or emotional concerns to the supervisor
Prepare classrooms before events and clean/reset them afterward (sanitize toys, wipe down surfaces, take out trash, etc.)
Serve at special church events as needed, including The Link, Rock Pathways, TGIW, and other Rock Family Church events

Reflect Christ in daily life and in all interactions with children and families
Serve with humility, excellence, and a heart for ministry
