Day Time Wed 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM / Thu 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM / Fri 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM / Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor facility activity and assist with access control, visitor direction, and security‑related support for patient care areas while following site policies and post instructions.
Support healthcare location operations by communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during alarms, medical events, or other critical situations requiring a timely response.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
