Security Officer Roving Patrol (Yellow Springs, OH)

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime Wed 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Thu 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sat 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, following post orders, and responding to emergency and/or unusual activity as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or supervisors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other restricted areas to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
Support access control and visitor processing activities, verify credentials as required by site policies, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security‑related concerns observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
