Imperial is seeking a Quality Manager to join our Quality team and help drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on quality leader who can balance day‑to‑day quality execution with broader process improvement efforts. The Quality Manager will help oversee quality systems, support internal auditing and corrective actions, partner closely with production leadership, and reinforce a culture where quality is built into every step of the process.

What You’ll be Doing
Support and help manage the day‑to‑day quality function across manufacturing operations
Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action efforts
Partner closely with production, operations, and leadership teams to resolve quality issues and improve consistency
Monitor product and process quality performance, including trends, defects, rework, and customer concerns
Help maintain and improve quality systems, procedures, work instructions, and documentation
Assist in internal audits, compliance activities, and process reviews to ensure standards are being followed
Coach and support quality staff, helping develop stronger inspection practices and decision‑making
Reinforce quality expectations on the production floor through routine presence, communication, and follow‑up
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement related to product quality, workflow, and defect reduction
Support customer issue resolution and help ensure timely, thorough responses to quality‑related concerns
Track and report key quality metrics to leadership, offering insights and recommendations for improvement
Help bridge tactical floor‑level quality execution with larger departmental and business quality goals
What We Need
2+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, production, or a related operational environment
Prior leadership or supervisory experience within quality or production roles
Strong understanding of quality systems, inspections, audits, documentation, and corrective action processes
Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to identify trends, solve problems, and make practical recommendations that improve quality performance
Strong cross‑functional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with operations and leadership
Comfortable being highly visible on the production floor and addressing issues in real time
Strong organization and follow‑through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting/documentation tools
Experience in apparel, print, embroidery, light manufacturing, or consumer products environments is a plus
Exposure to ISO, audit readiness, or formal quality management systems is preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while working at a computer or workstation
Ability to use hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and keyboards
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Ability to move throughout the facility, including walking, bending, and reaching as needed
Visual acuity sufficient to read screens, documents, and reports
