Job Summary
The Facilities Associate will be responsible for ensuring the daily guest readiness and safety of the Lodge. Duties include ensuring that all public spaces are clean and guests ready, driving the shuttle, completing maintenance requests, and working through the preventive maintenance program for the Lodge.

Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
Clean and maintain lodge exterior spaces (parking lot, patio, sidewalks) and interior common areas including lobby, hallways, public bathrooms, fitness room, entry ways, and stairways.
Empty outside and public trash receptacles and remove trash from all departments in the Lodge.
Daily pool and spa checks, cleaning and other pool and spa maintenance in accordance with State Health Department standards.
Completing all work in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with applicable laws and the best use of resources.
Drive the shuttle throughout the shift; schedule adjustments may be required due to travel delays or cancellations.
Maintain a safe and clean facility, indoors and outdoors, and comply with lodge safety protocols.
Assist with setup, tear down and cleaning of conference center for events when needed.
Assist with preventative maintenance on all maintenance tools and equipment.
Assist with preventative maintenance of all rooms and common areas by ensuring all furniture, appliances, and electrical equipment such as TVs, refrigerators and light fixtures are in working order, following the established PM program.
Perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, ventilation, furnishings, fixtures, painting, drywall repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs.
Report any safety issues/concerns immediately to Facility Supervisor and Location Manager.
Snow and Ice removal as needed, spreading ice melt, shoveling, and snowplowing.
Support hotel departmental maintenance programs and execute daily, weekly, monthly, semi‑annual and annual checklists as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor.
Always offer courteous and sincere hospitality. Understand what is meant by “exceptional guest service”, providing guests with uniform, consistent, efficient, courteous, high‑quality service.
Unload, deliver, and organize lodge orders for various departments.
Conduct inventory tasks as assigned.
Responsible for adhering to Xanterra’s Ecologix program.
Support and assist in other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledgeable in Heating & Electric, Plumbing, and Carpentry and the ability to use tools and equipment common to the trade.
Previous pool and spa maintenance experience preferred.
Able to identify the scope of work to determine if specialized skills of the various crafts are required to the job professionally.
Must be comfortable using a computer and familiar with Windows Outlook, Word and Excel. Email is used for a large part of communication throughout the Lodge and company.
Comply with all current related safety and health requirements.
Able to read, understand and comply with all current company policies and procedures.
Ability to provide courteous and sincere hospitality. Understand what is meant by “exceptional guest service”, providing guests with uniform, consistent, efficient, courteous, high‑quality service.
Must possess a current, valid driver’s license that can pass a driving history check and Department of Transportation Physical.
DOT pre‑employment and periodic drug testing will be required.
Physical Requirements
This position may require the use of respiratory protection and will require compliance with applicable regulations.
Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
Must possess physical stamina and condition to withstand heavy labor related work in an outside environment, such as snow removal tasks.
Standing, bending, kneeling, crawling for extended periods of time are required.
Minimum age requirement: 21 years
