CSO Count Room Team Member
Performs the count and recording of drop boxes in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Able to perform duties in all areas of Count Room (i.e., various equipment) in accordance with the regulations of Cage Slots Operation consistent with Gaming Ordinance, State Compact, Appendix X & X2, MICS, TICS and employee handbook
Opens and empties contents of the drop boxes and prepares boxes for the count
Sorts and counts chips and currency contained in the drop box (sorter)
Verifies the first count of the sorter
Straps the currency (clip & strap station)
Clears, posts and consolidates Games Summary sheet, reconcile amounts posted to amounts counted (reorder)
Confirms the physical count (station 2; verifier) to the reorder
Prepares cash and chips for transfer to Cage (entire team)
Secondary Functions:
Work closely with other Cage/Slots Operations and Count Room personnel
Changes out damaged boxes/bags
All Count Room team members organize the revenue drop
Promotes and demonstrates spectacular service towards co-workers and TGC personnel
Other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills:
Performs all duties within the rules and regulations of Cage Slots Operations consistent with Gaming Ordinance, State Compact, Appendix X & X2, MICS, and employee handbook
Ability to handle large volume cash transactions and documents regularly and accurately
Ability to use ten-key
Proficient with computer knowledge
Good math skills
Able to work closely with others in a team situation
Able to follow directions
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Working conditions include working in a small confined space with other personnel for extended periods of time. Other conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
