Our Financial Specialists lead the business office at the facility level, overseeing billing, collections, accounts receivable, and financial reporting in one of healthcare’s most complex reimbursement environments. Position Overview
Financial Specialist / Business Office Manager
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business office within the facility. Key responsibilities include:
Managing Medicaid and Medicare billing, including the full claims cycle, denial resolution, and Medicaid application processing from documentation through eligibility approval
Overseeing accounts receivable across all payer sources, auditing resident accounts, and driving collections to support the financial health of the facility
Conducting financial analysis and reporting, tracking performance against goals, and communicating findings to facility and corporate leadership
Completing admission financial reviews to assess payer eligibility for incoming residents and support census and revenue goals
Maintaining business office oversight, including census reporting, resident trust fund reconciliation, and compliance with state and federal billing regulations
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior healthcare experience is not required
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
