
Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities
Manage preventative and reactive maintenance programs to optimize production efficiency while minimizing maintenance costs. Conduct planning, scheduling, & budgeting maintenance activities
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and life cycle analysis on the maintenance of equipment.
Prepare and submit internal and external reports according to local and department requirements, including capital appropriations, maintenance spending, and capital spending reports.
Utilize Six Sigma tools to develop applicable projects for the plant.
Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and governmental guidelines, rules, and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and environmental issues.
Provide direct supervision of Maintenance Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Supervisors, Storeroom Supervisors, and Maintenance Planners.
Have significant involvement in problem‑solving situations relative to preventive and predictive maintenance, installation, modification, and repair of equipment.
Exercising discretion when making decisions, and the use of independent judgment within policy and procedure guidelines, are included as part of the responsibilities of this position.
Assist the plant in providing a safe place to work, while enabling quality products to be produced through effective and efficient management of maintenance activities relative to design, cost, selection, construction, and installation of equipment.
Oversee capital projects, including development of technical specifications, vendor selection and quotations, engineering analysis and project justification, plan and coordinate internal and external project resources, and facilitate safe implementation into the plant or production environment.
Ensure adherence to Waste Management and Recycling responsibilities.
Be an active participant in the plant's safety programs and Incident & near miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
Participate in the development, understanding, and review of all position JSA and SOPs
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial manufacturing or equivalent experience
Systems: SAP experience preferred
Project Management: Ability to manage all aspects of high‑level manufacturing projects
Technical Expertise: Maintenance management experience with knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulations
Leadership & Skills: Strong problem‑solving ability with minimal supervision; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; supervisory experience preferred; proven ability to lead teams, drive motivation, and support continuous improvement
Benefits
The national pay range for this position is [$102,000-$158,000] per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is [13%] of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is [$113,271 to $175,285].
